| We bought this scale when it first came available a couple of years ago.. We use it to weigh LLAMAS.(ok, we had fun weighing our dogs and even a pig) It fits perfectly in our llama chute! I love how portable it is. We take it in the van when needed. When not in use I (one person) carry it by the handle and rest it on it's side indoors...I like that it can convert to kilograms (do I have the correct word?) so I can figure doses for medicines and dewormers.I recommend getting the indicator stand- thats why I found this site.. We are a llama rescue/sanctuary and find this an affordable option for our herd health and general farm use...I could weigh my fleece, but never thought to do that..haha Hmm maybe I should weigh Christmas packages, too. At any rate, I dont need help in moving or using this scale- and we have 21 llamas and I need to move the scale to different shelters on the farm..I get great peace of mind knowing I can monitor their weigh. With all of that wool, you cant estimate weight accurately enough.. | ||||
