To use an over/under scale, first you enter your acceptable weight range for your product(s). Then you simply place the item you want to checkweigh on the scale platform. At that point, the scale will display if the weight is within the pre-set acceptable range. This is usually done with an "Accept" sign or green light. Likewise, if the weight is too light or too heavy, that will be displayed either with red or yellow lighting or the words "under" or "over".
